BFOI - Reference - Round 4

The blue jacket is a fairly new addition to Suna's wardrobe - she picked it up in Unova before flying to Ohana. It's a (faux) fur-lined windbreaker. She only wears it when flying long distances, though she decided to don it for this round due to not knowing the amount of time she would be flying. (She doesn't count it as part of her 'wardrobe' because she only wears it while flying.

A pair of blue jeans pulled out of her usual wardrobe and boots finish off her lower body. Despite her aversion to footwear, she decided that a pair of shoes or insulated boots were to be worn when flying due to the windchill and biting temperatures at which Chaos (and Nix in some cases) enjoys flying.

Her usual scarf is wrapped around the lower portion of her face and neck to keep the windchill at bay as much as possible.

The saddle Chaos is wearing was a present to Suna from Kite when she first traveled to Sinnoh to help ease her long-distance riding. Like her riding jacket, Suna only has Chaos wear the saddle when she is flying long distances, but due to not knowing the length of time she would be spending in the sky, Chaos agreed to wear it.
The harness is made of sturdy leather and wraps securely around Chaos's torso, holding the saddle in place on his back. There are no straps to keep Suna on the saddle while riding, instead there are two soft, well-worn and cared for leather straps looping on the front of the saddle that Suna holds onto while riding.

Suna often doesn't bother steering Chaos since she usually just tells him which way to go, but for quick maneuvers she steers by leaving in the direction she needs him to fly.

To slow down she would pull back on the saddle, consequently pulling Chaos's chest up and making him fan out his wings, while leaning down in a style similar to how a jockey would ride a Rapidash(pictured above) would cause the Charizard to speed up.

Though not as fast as Nix - who is built for speed, Chaos handles very well in air-battles, though is extremely wary and cautious when Suna is on his back(usually despite the girl's yells and commands to pay more attention to the battle).

Though Chaos is most comfortable with Suna on his back while in the sky, he can also maneuver on the ground with her on his back as well albeit a bit more awkward.
